Founded in 1975 in Milan as a company for the design, construction, and sale of equipment for waste water biological treatment plants.  In particular, ECOLMA dedicated  itself to the design and realization of slow-speed surface aerators, named ROTOX, with international patent no. 27262A/79. 

Since 1975, over 1000 ROTOX surface aerators have been built and installed to equip both civil and industrial wastewater treatment plants, in Italy and abroad.
